At Containerstriben, you’ll find a wide variety of culinary delights—everything from Italian pizzas and Mexican treats to Thai specialties. When it comes to coffee, you won’t want to miss what Containerstriben has to offer, and the local microbrewery is the perfect spot for a well-deserved break.
Rhythm and beat aren’t the whole story at Musicon. On the quieter side of the Rock Museum, you’ll find artisans and workshops where materials, ideas, and craftsmanship are allowed to flourish in an atmosphere of artistic calm and concentration.
Throughout the year, the neighborhood’s squares and halls also come alive with markets, street food festivals, and cultural events. Some days the atmosphere is lively and festive; other days it is quiet and everyday. It is precisely this contrast that is part of the neighborhood’s rhythm.
Most parking spaces in Musicon are located in the district’s parking garages at Indfaldet 4 and Havsteensvej 10. These are paid parking lots, with the first 2 hours free. The rest of the district has on-street parking with time limits.

The Rock Museum was conceived as a museum dedicated to the music genres that shape young people’s identities, and it also tells the story of how architecture can capture a cultural energy and give it physical form. Rock music emerged as a break with the established order, as a voice for young people, and as a force that challenged norms and pushed boundaries. That same determination to make a mark and claim space is evident in the building’s design.
With the one-day festival VIBE UP, we’re opening our doors on September 19 to five live concerts featuring some of the artists who might be headlining tomorrow. Because we want to be there right when music history is being made.
