At the Rock Museum in Roskilde, we’re looking for passionate and curious docents to join our team—people who want to bring Danish pop, rock, and youth culture to life for our guests. For us, it’s not just about showing people around—it’s about creating experiences people will remember.
Stories 
You will be an important part of our team and our public face, and you’ll have the opportunity to both teach school classes and guide groups and tourists through the museum’s world. You’ll share the stories behind the music, the artists, and the generations that have shaped our culture—and you’re welcome to add your own personal touch to the narrative!
Your responsibilities:
Give tours and lessons that are lively, fun, and memorable, in both Danish and English
Engage with guests on their level and create a positive atmosphere
Be part of the team when we host events and special programs at the Rock Museum
Help make the Rock Museum feel like a cool place to be
WE ARE LOOKING FOR SOMEONE WHO:
- You are enrolled in a degree program and have at least two years left to complete your degree. Perhaps you’re studying musicology, anthropology, or training to become a teacher, a high school teacher, or something along those lines
- I love music and culture (especially Danish culture!)
- Is a good storyteller and isn't afraid to speak up
- Has energy, a sense of humor, and a desire to meet lots of different people
- Can work flexibly—even when others are off
Previous experience as a tour guide is not required, but it is important that you enjoy being in the spotlight in front of large groups of people and that you are comfortable speaking in front of large audiences.

PRACTICAL INFORMATION
This is a part-time student assistant position with flexible working hours. The role will involve both weekend and evening shifts. Start date to be agreed upon. Pay is in accordance with the current collective bargaining agreement for students.
