As the frontman and songwriter of the legendary artistic collective Røde Mor, as a solo artist, as a partner to singer Rebecca Brüel, and as a tireless performer, he created a body of work characterized by poetry, humor, social criticism, and human insight.
This evening, we gather to remember, honor, and celebrate Troels Trier’s life and artistic legacy.
Museum curator Rasmus Rosenørn will tell the story of Troels Trier and his significance to the Danish music scene, while also presenting a series of unique artifacts from the Rock Museum’s collection that shed light on his long and multifaceted career.
The musical highlight of the evening will come when Troels’ son, musician Tobias Trier, takes the stage with interpretations of selected songs from his father’s extensive catalog. He will be joined by members of the band Røde Mor, as well as other musicians closely associated with both Troels and Tobias Trier.
The audience can look forward to an evening of powerful stories, vivid memories, and music that still speaks directly to both the heart and the present day. An evening where we’ll relive together the songs, stories, and perspectives that made Troels Trier an unparalleled artist—and that continue to inspire new generations.

The Rock Museum is located in the Musicon district of Roskilde, about a 25-minute train ride from Copenhagen.
The walk from the station takes 15 minutes along Musiconstien. Alternatively, you can take bus 202A from the station. You can useRejseplanento plan your trip by public transportation.
Roskilde Station offers regular service to Copenhagen, Copenhagen Airport, and the rest of Denmark.
The Rock Museum is located in Roskilde’s Musicon district, about a 30-minute drive from Copenhagen and just a stone’s throw from the“12, RoskildeS” highway exit. From there, it’s easy to drive to the parking garage atIndfaldet 4, 4000 Roskilde.
Musicon is a neighborhood that is constantly evolving. As a result, parking conditions change from time to time as new areas are developed. You can stay up to date on parking conditions andregulations in the area here.
Parking for up to 2 hours
Short-term parking is available along the side streets in the central area of Musicon. In some places, parking is limited to half an hour; in others, it is up to 2 hours. Remember to set your parking disc. You cannot extend your parking beyond the two-hour limit.
Please note that the car must be parked within the marked spaces.
Parking for more than 2 hours
If you plan to stay in the Musicon district for more than 2 hours, you can park in the parking garage at Indfaldet 4.
Between 8 a.m. and 6 p.m. (8 a.m. to 2 p.m.), you must register via the app or at a parking meter, and parking for more than 2 hours incurs a fee.
Mon–Fri 4:30 p.m.–8:00 a.m. and all day Saturday and Sunday, you can also park in the southernmost section of the BEC parking lot nearest the Sound Wall, with access from Bifaldet. No registration or payment is required.
The Rock Museum café will be open throughout the event, offering wine, soft drinks, coffee, snacks, and more.
We have a coat rack for outerwear and lockers for bags. Our coat rack is actually quite an experience in itself… and it’s completely free!
