How do you keep a band going for six decades?
How do you maintain the curiosity, vocal power, and courage to constantly reinvent yourself—without losing sight of who you are along the way?

The Rock Museum invites you to a very special evening with Peter A.G. Nielsen and Henrik Marstal in celebration of GNAGS’ impressive 60th anniversary and this year’s major summer tour.

Drawing on selected highlights from GNAGS’ long career, the conversation unfolds as a vivid portrait of one of the most distinctive and beloved bands in Danish music history. You’ll get a closer look at the stories, the doubts, the stubbornness, the camaraderie, and the artistic curiosity that have kept GNAGS moving through the generations.

The evening’s host is musician, musicologist, and author Henrik Marstal, who has written the book “GNAGS,Den Blå Hund”and therefore possesses a unique insight into the band’s music, universe, and stories. This creates space for the questions and reflections you rarely hear elsewhere.

As a live performer, Peter A.G. is known for giving his all to his audience—and he brings that same intimacy, warmth, and energy to this conversation. Here, you’ll meet not only an eminent songwriter and one of Danish music’s most distinctive voices, but also a person with stories, thoughts, and experiences from a life in music.

The conversation is accompanied along the way by musical interludes, visuals, and atmospheric moments that make the evening more than a classic artist talk—an immersive experience for both dedicated fans and curious music lovers.

We look forward to welcoming you to an evening filled with music, stories, and 60 years of Danish rock history!
